Vata Tea - Recipe for Ginger Fenugreek Tea against Joint Pain and Gas Problems

A participant in Yashendu’s Ayurvedic cooking retreat asked him about Ayurvedic teas for the different doshas. While such teas are being sold in the west in readymade tea bags, it is very easy to actually prepare them yourself, and fresh, at home! I will give you the recipe for three dosha teas, one for vata, one for kapha and one for pitta. Let’s start with a Vata Tea that will help reduce vata-related issues such as bloated stomach and joint pain from arthritis for example.
